What's Parichay?
Samsung R&D Institute India, Bangalore’s Parichay is a coding contest for 2nd year Engineering students. A program aimed at building a long-term association between Samsung Research Bangalore and the academia. This is an an opportunity for students to showcase their coding skills and get an opportunity intern at SRI Bangalore after their second year only. The internship experience will expose students to important technology trends and will give them a chance to work on some of the cutting edge technologies.

1. Who can take part in the challenge?
This challenge is open to 2nd-year Computer Science and related engineering students.
2. Is it an individual challenge or can be participated in a group?
It is an individual challenge.
3. Will there be any rewards in the challenge?
The shortlisted students will be given Samsung goodies and the finalists will be offered the internship opportunity with Samsung after 2nd & 3rd year of engineering.
4. What is the format of the challenge?
The challenge is multi-tiered challenge spread across 3 rounds. The first round of the challenge will be held online in Feb and shortlists from the first round will get a chance to participate in the third round held in March and subsequent shortlists for the final round in March/April.
5. What is the duration of the challenge?
The first round of the contest will go live on 18th Feb and will end on 20th Feb. Students are allowed to take the test for 2 hours anytime between the given window.
